Meet the celebrant (that's me!)
Greetings, come on in...I'm Katie (she/her). I'm chuffed you're here.
Me? My love of story-telling led me to train as a celebrant and I'm also an internationally published writer of spooky fiction.
In my real-life adventures, I can't get enough of exploring the mountains, the outdoors and festivals. In my spare time, you can find me wafting around the moors just outside Manchester with my other half and our splendid Staffie.

My ceremonies are for anyone who wants an inclusive, joyful celebration.
I'm a staunch LGBTQ+ ally and anti-racist, proud have received the Accessibility and Inclusion Award (Highly Commended) at the Quirky Wedding Awards 2025.
I've always loved a knees-up, a right do, any type of gathering... my grandma was actually named Bonanza. Perhaps celebrations are in my blood!
In 2024, I trained as a Wedding Celebrant with the Academy of Modern Celebrancy because it means I get to join in with groovy gatherings like yours!
I'm a recommended celebrant at incredible wedding venues such as Swanley Meadows, Gradbach Mill, The Stables Wedding Farm, Chesire Woodland Weddings, and Rylands Farmhouse.
