How do we book our celebrant-led ceremony with you?
It's easy! Just fill out my contact form and I'll be in touch to let you know if I'm free for your date (I hope so). Then we'll arrange a free intro call to chat about your plans.
How do we get legally married?
You'll need to do the legal paperwork for your marriage at your local registry office. This is a simple process and should cost between £55-80 (depending on where you live). You can ask for a 2+2 ceremony which is just you two and your two witnesses. Then you can concentrate on enjoying your totally unique celebrant-led ceremony! I will send you all the information you need about booking your legal marriage when we are planning your celebrant ceremony with me. This method is becoming more and more popular, as couples realise that they can get the old-fashioned, legal ceremony out of the way in the registry office, before having their amazing celebrant-led ceremony with all their friends and family. You can choose the cheapest package the registry office have available if that's what you want to do...they all result in the same legally binding paperwork. Please don't feel pressured to 'upgrade' your registry office ceremony to one of their more expensive packages.
How do we arrange a video call?
To chat about your wedding plans, please ahead and book a free intro call. This is a no obligation conversation to make sure I match the vibe of your wedding day. It's really important that you get along well with the celebrant you choose.
How much does a Spellbound ceremony cost?
Wedding and vow renewal ceremonies start at £650. For this, you'll get an uplifting, groovy wedding ceremony written by an internationally published author (me!) and access to my secret stash of wedding planning guidance, plus loads of support and guidance during the planning of your wedding. I'll become your colourful, Northern wedding pal and we'll have a laugh while we're at it! Ideas will swirl around, tales will be told...and it's going to result in a blummin' brilliant wedding ceremony for your big day. These are usually shorter that wedding and vow renewal ceremonies (but prepared and delivered with just as much love), hence the smaller cost. Naming ceremonies are sometimes booked for babies/ children, so it makes sense for them to be shorter...as smaller people tend to enjoy shorter ceremonies. Naming ceremonies can also be arranged for adults, so if that's the case, please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
Help! We're stuck with writing our vows
If you've booked your ceremony with me, then support with vow writing is already included in the price! Yay. I can either help you come up with ideas for your vows, or I can write something for you to get your started. It's all part of the service. If you're happy to crack on and write them yourself, of course that's absolutely fine, too. If you have arranged your ceremony elsewhere/ with another supplier, I provide a vow writing service for £50 to set you up for success.
How does payment work?
You pay a £250 deposit to book your ceremony date with me. The date is officially yours! You then pay the remainder of your balance one month before your ceremony date. I will confirm all of these dates with you upon booking.
Which areas do you cover?
I'm based in Manchester but will happily travel to your chosen venue/ location. The North and beyond. I love an adventure! If your venue is more than 50 miles away from OL5 postcode, then a travel charge of 50p per mile applies. If it's a very long journey, then accommodation costs may apply.
Do you do ceremonies abroad?
Yes, please! I live in a permanent state of wanderlust and love a jaunt overseas. Get in touch for a quote. Travel and accommodation costs will apply (as they would with all wedding suppliers) but I will be there with bells on.
We've got no idea where to start with our ceremony...what do we do?
Get in touch with me! We can have a good old chat about your personalities and story as a couple, and I can certainly offer some suggestions to you, if that's what you want. On the other hand, if you have a set idea about how your ceremony will look and feel, then it's my job to make that happen for you. We'll chat about this in one of our video calls together.
